  • Meet on the second Sunday of each month in 2023 for 10am meetup, at Chorlton Water Park, car park, entrance at the end of Maitland Road, off Barlow Moor Road, Manchester M21 7PD.
  • Rides in the Winter are shorter at around 20-30 miles, and in the Summer longer at up to 55 miles.
  • Speed is gentle, around 10-12 mph. Routes are mainly flattish, except the Tour de Macc, which is hilly.

  • Bring a pump, an inner tube and set of puncture repair tools. Also consider bringing a cycle helmet and rainwear if appropriate.
  • Card and cash useful for lunchtime refueling.

Plenty of traffic free riding using the Mersey, Middlewood way, Macclesfield canal, Poynton link road and the Airport link road cycle path.
Lunch at the Vine in Bollington, attached to the Bollington Brewery, who produce some very fine beers. Mostly flat, there are a couple of short steep climbs.
