Church House InnTour de Macc, Over the Hills and (not) Far Away
This is quite hilly, one big steep climb and a few short ones. Over to Gawsworth via the Eastern end of Alderley Edge, gracious farms, woods and parkland. Across the A523 and up to Sutton Lane, and the Church House Inn, Bollington, nice beers, food and friendly service. Then the killer, Coalpits Lane, one in five for nearly a kilometre, but what views when you get there! More up and down along the edge of the Peak District then down to Prestbury and home via the same end of the Edge as before. About 50 miles and well worth the effort! Route here.
